To celebrate Australia Day, and reflect on why we are lucky to be Australian, we went for a picnic by the mighty Murray River today. While there I did a painting. Here it is -
I completed the inking of Cut Down before Xmas, and have been working on a cover. At this stage we are casting our net to find a publisher. Below is a sample page of this thrilling story.
Over the Christmas period just past, I sold my last copy of Amazing Tales #1. It is now a collector's item. It received many favourable comments from many who read it, so I will try to get AT#2 published this year.
The digital version of #1 is still available from the Wotsleft Books website http://wotsleftbooks.weebly.com/comic-stand.html_ Some feedback comments I received: "Love your comic by the way. Read it the other night. Great artwork and writing." - Phil J " Bought the book at the Stanleys Weekend. Great read! Excellent work Dave Dye" - CG " I liked the three pager. But really ALL of the stories were an entertaining read..." Nat K "I liked the oddness of the Dropship 15 story, the novelty of The Runaway, the ockerish Twilight Zone of Bad Karma and the barren eeriness/loneliness of The Ringer's Yarn."
